THERAPIES EXPLAINED

The right therapy for you

Our approach is integrative, meaning that we do not rigidly adhere to only one approach; we use elements of a range of different therapies where it is appropriate to do so, based on your personal therapy needs.

This includes the use of CBT, DBT, ACT and Skills Training. We also offer EMDR for trauma.

As chartered psychologists, we have been able to demonstrate to the regulatory body (the British Psychological Society) our ability to plan, implement and evaluate our practice, while ensuring we are able to incorporate new research and evidence to our treatments. As part of our membership to the BPS and the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) we are required to demonstrate continuing personal development, which includes regular peer discussions, reviewing the literature and taking part in training with official providers, to ensure the best service for our clients.
